Intentionality drives Walker’s photography. The light directs our eye within the frame. Visceral and elegant, Walker’s imagery tells a singular story of what it feels like to move through a place, or take it all in from a unique angle. Like a painter choosing brushes and pigments, Walker pairs lenses and film stocks, waits for the light, and frames up compositions with emotional precision. Her images pulse with the undercurrents of life, providing visceral connections to specific moments in time and place. Her Leica travels with her always, and Walker, privy to incredibly rare vantages in her role as a cinematographer, captures these story moments as they arise.
